 Here is my weekly project & plan

Week 1

- This week, Mr. Nick introduced the project that we have to do this semester which is making an intro of a crime documentary.

- Prepare for an upcoming project

Week 2

- This week, we started with setting our blogs for this year and we learned about policies of different platforms of social media such as Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and Tiktok. 

To do list: 

- Find groupings for project

Week 3

- This week, we started with making our statement of intent and then the next day learned about misinformation and disinformation (basically the same) and then the next day we learned about social media regulations such as TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram.

To do list: 

- Continue statement of intent

- discuss with friends about the project more further to think about ideas.

Week 4 

- This week, we started with our project discussion, however Mr, Nick was absent on that day which meant that we did our own things most of the time. The rest of the days, we continued with a discussion about the power of media.

- Record

- Finish the script

Week 5

- This week, we started with a discussion of the power of media and we discussed about our project for when will our shooting be scheduled. The next day, we discussed about representation on Jessica Wongso's case about killing her friend by pouring cyanide into Mirna's (Her friend's) Coffee because she got released this week. The day after, we have a theory lesson about representation and we discussed about how bules are represented in Indonesia.

Week 6

- I got sick for the entire two weeks however, I've heard from others that the class watched a Netflix series called Black Mirror for an hour.

- Record scenes

Week 7

- Unfortunately I was still sick for the entire week and the class did two days of project lessons and a day of theory lesson which they discussed about the audience's power in the media using a case study on Snow White's 2024 live action. Apparently they switched out the dwarfs cast race are being switched through cgi.

To do list:

- Continue to record scenes

Week 8

Reflection:

Workin on this was very simple because all we did was just type down on what we did that week. However, I got sick and hospitalized for a couple weeks but I managed to catch up as soon as I got better. This helped me track the progress of my project documentary.
