 Here is my weekly progress & plan

Week 1

- Our first week, we started off with a theory lesson. We discussed about media and medium as well as the theorists. We covered that for two days. On the last day which is the project day, we've done groupings, genre research, and music industry research. 

To do list: Must continue research at home

Week 2

- This week started off with the continuation of our music video research. R&B is the genre that my group are locked in with so we all had to do our own research with any song. Mr Nick told us to do 2 BIG and 6 Small research (First Day).

Week 3

- This week, we started our media lesson without Mr. Nick so we only did genre research on our blogs. The second lesson was a theory lesson, discussing about Elon Musk and his power after buying Twitter and how Twitter has changed after Elon Musk bought Twitter. Final day of the week, we did a bit of poster work from yesterday about Elon Musk and Twitter, then we continued the rest of the day with genre research.

Week 4

- This week, we created our statement of Intent, discussing how our music video will go like talking about who's going to do these different jobs and assignments. Also discussing about music videos

Week 5

- This week, we started off with a project lesson. We made a moodboard which didnt take longer than 20 minutes, then started our storyboard. Also, we had an assessment about media

Week 6 

- This week, we had an entire week of JUST project lesson where we all had to continue our music video project. I am now around 80% complete on my project, also this really helped me to be more prooductive for the whole week which I am happy about. The project's deadline is next week and we are set with all the plans which we will start shooting this weekend on saturday 3:00 AM starting from Nathan's house.

Week 2

On the first lesson, we finished our mini project. Did all the editing, finished the blog post and also add a last touch to our filming schedule. The next lesson, we discussed about a new topic which was Post Colonialism. It's about the aftermath of a colonisation and how it is shown through the media. On the last lesson, we continued to discuss about post colonialism, then we also discussed about the filming schedule.

We had an online meeting on the first media class of the week due to strong weather.

Week 7

We had our first mock exam this year, it was about media ecology, power and the media, etc, which was a problem to our project since we were behind our shooting schedule. This entire week was absolutely hell.
